Lawyers Realty: The New Face of Real Estate

When Lawyers Realty, LLC first hit the marketplace, the competition was sent into frenzy. Not only was there another competitor in Central PA’s real estate market, but now there was also a revolutionary idea revealed that would change the way consumers buy and sell real estate.
Lawyers Realty has had quite an exciting beginning! Throughout our first year, we’ve discovered that one of our biggest hurdles is getting our message across to the consumer. Oftentimes in life, we hear or read about services or products that seem “too good to be true.†People read our marketing materials, or talk to past clients, and they can’t believe that on top of our traditional real estate services, we also offer attorney representation at no additional cost. The attorney representation adds an extra layer of protection throughout the real estate transaction. The attorney assigned to the client will review all paperwork and contracts, assist in negotiations, and attend settlement. On the path from “Just Listed†to “Sold,†four out of ten settlements stumble over legal problems. Our clients have confidence at the settlement table knowing that any issues have been identified and resolved, making the experience a much more enjoyable one.
We at Lawyers Realty go beyond the attorney representation and offer clients even more protection when buying or selling real estate. When we acquire a new listing, the first thing we do is order a title search on the property. Unlike many real estate agencies that wait until the property is ready to go to settlement, we order the search upfront to eliminate any last minute problems that could arise. In this slower market, price is everything; positioning a property at the correct price, yet still competitive to others on the market, can be a tricky situation. Lawyers Realty offers a commission package that includes an independent appraisal. The appraisal takes much of the guesswork out of pricing a property and it can be used as a negotiating tool when contracts start coming in. Along with that same commission package, we also offer an AHS Home Warranty. The warranty insures the property during the listing period and for one year after the property is sold, allowing potential buyers of the property to feel more confident in purchasing the home. These services are just two more ways that Lawyers Realty helps protect its clients and their interest. Our real estate services are truly a better value and a better way.
Looking towards the future, Lawyers Realty is busy obtaining new listings, assisting buyers in finding their perfect home, and recruiting professionally-driven agents. John has an extensive educational background, including a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Brown University and Graduate study in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.
